After 30 years experience as Yankee Lumber of Wilton, we continue as Yankee Cabinetry of Westport to specialize in the DESIGN, DELIVERY and INSTALLATION of a large variety of cabinets and antique reproductions for all rooms of the home and office. We offer over 500 cabinet styles and sizes in over 50 different finishes in many wood species. We are able to simplify the many choices.

Our primary suppliers are Aristokraft, Canyon Creek, and Yorktowne, providing stock, semi-custom and custom cabinetry. In addition, we offer primitive, country and 18th century traditional New England authentic reproductions. Lead times vary from 1 to 12 weeks depending on the item. We also offer the full range of countertops (Butcher Block, Corian, Ceasarstone, granites, Silestone, and Formica & Wilson Art laminates). We provide installation services or will work closely with the client's installer as needed.

Our small team is dedicated to satisfying client desires for beautiful and functional results within any targeted budget. We enjoy a significant amount of repeat business as well as new business referred to us by clients we have previously served.

Our normal operating procedure when designing kitchens or other multi-cabinet rooms is as follows:

1. Client visits us to view displays and to indicate their preferences:
- initial cabinet style and color they like
- things they DO like about their present kitchen, or room
- things they do NOT like about their present kitchen, or room
- things their present kitchen does not have, that they would like to have
- target budget range

2. Client can either provide us with room dimensions, ceiling height, and present location of appliances or we will visit client's home to photograph and take exact measurements.

3. We will do 1st layout at no charge and provide discounted price quote.

4. After consultation with client, we will make any appropriate changes and then do 2nd layout with computer 3-dimensional renderings at no charge and provide discounted price quote.

5. If further design work is required after consultation with client, and client likes our work and wishes to continue, client deposits a modest retainer fee which will be credited to the final price.

6. If we have not previously visited client's home to photograph and take measurements, we must at this point.  All sheetrock for new construction or renovation must be completed before dimensions are taken.

7. We will then redesign and produce layouts and provide the client with computer renderings and final discounted pricing as appropriate to satisfy their desires and budget.

8. To obtain our cabinet discounts,client pays 50% deposit at time of order. If client pays the full amount at time of order an additional 2% prompt-pay discount will apply to the entire order.
